    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Relief Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is based out of our Seabrook, New Jersey location. This individual must be able to proficiently operate all line equipment at a grade 8 level. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail through many changes.</p><p>$22.22 -. $.45 cents Shift differential&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include<em>:</em></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Coverage to run filler, labeler, case packer, and line driver in the absence of standard operators.</li><li>Complete quality checks&nbsp;</li><li>Knows the purpose and proper operation of all safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices</li><li>Can properly start and stop the machinery</li><li>Understands and can properly operate all machine controls: mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic</li><li>Proficient at performing product cuts</li><li>Enters changes into the Marsh coder and Videojet</li><li>Keeps the work area clean and free of debris and keeps the waste corrugated and stacked neatly in the waste cart</li><li>Clears jams and resets the machinery</li><li>Safely operates the electric pallet jack and is forklift-certified</li><li>Assists maintenance in size changeovers as necessary</li><li>Fills out all needed documentation and performs first-piece inspections</li><li>Coordinates with the operators so the correct boxes are available to the case packer</li><li>Proficient in operating all line equipment</li><li>Maintains awareness of all safety procedures</li><li>Performs other related duties as required and assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A high school diploma or equivalent</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Can properly fill out all required documentation</li><li>Has successfully completed machine operator training on all pieces of equipment</li><li>Capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Detailed oriented and can multi-task</li><li>Ability to run whalon, filler, labeler, case packer and line driver.</li><li>Ability to complete all quality checks.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Experience in the food/beverage industry&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to direct, coach and train others.</li><li>Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &amp; WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></p><p>This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>FREQUENT:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and/or crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in area of responsibility. Exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature (seasonal).</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>OCCASIONAL:&nbsp;</strong>Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask, and perform Confined Entry using LOTO program. Exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>VISION:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to use close and distance vision, as well as color and peripheral vision with or without correction. Must be able to visually detect obstacles and potential dangers in a fast-paced production environment involving high speed equipment and powered industrial lift equipment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.25in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>HEARING:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
