A valid drivers license and refrigeration license is required.\\n\\nMajor Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks of the Position\\n\\n\\n\\tInstall, maintain and troubleshoot heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration and laundry equipment\\n\\tMaintain and install plumbing systems throughout the facilities\\n\\tPerform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor\\n\\tPerform the responsibilities of the General Maintenance position, as required\\n\\tAssist with the removal of snow and ice, as directed \\n\\tImmediately report resident related care concerns about treatment or abuse to the Department Supervisor as well as the Executive Director of the facility\\n\\tInteract with Team Members, Residents, and Guests in a courteous and professional manner\\n\\tBe accountable for all information in the Team Member Handbook\\n\\tMaintain confidentiality of resident, Team Member, family and facility information\\n\\tUnderstand and upholds Resident Rights\\n\\tFollow each Residents Plan of Care\\n\\tFollow oral and written instructions for all duties assigned and performed in an effective, timely and professional manner\\n\\tComplete assigned tasks in accordance with organization, facility, and department procedures\\n\\tDemonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team\\n\\tUse supplies in an efficient and cost effective manner\\n\\tEnsure equipment is treated with proper care and is used only for the purposes and in accordance for which it was designed to be used for\\n\\tFollow facility reporting guidelines for any equipment that is not functioning properly or is need of repair\\n\\tUse Infection control practices, including Standard Precautions, to prevent the spread of diseases\\n\\tMaintain cleanliness of work area\\n\\tPerform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, as directed\\n\\tComplete all documentation per facility protocol and Standards of Practice\\n\\tFollow all IT protocols, including submission of Sysaids, for all technology related issues\\n\\tAnswer call bells and assist as able\\n\\n\\nConduct Expected of a Team Member in the Position\\n\\n\\n\\tInterpersonal and Resident Relations: Interacts effectively with others and actively participates as a committed team member. This includes interacting in a respectful, professional manner; remaining calm in difficult interactions; assisting coworkers; listening to and involving others; objectively considering others ideas and opinions, and interacting effectively with people from varied and diverse backgrounds; creating an environment of positive and professional demeanor for residents.\\n\\tFollowing Policies and Procedures: Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures. This includes Federal, state, and local requirements and regulations; safety policies and procedures; the team member handbook; properly storing and disposing regulated medical waste; maintaining a clean and orderly workspace; dresses in proper attire; upholding ethical standards; and maintaining privacy and confidentiality of personal information of residents and team members.\\n\\tWork Orientation: Ensures that work activities are completed thoroughly, accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner ensuring quality standards are met. This includes taking the initiative to complete job tasks; working without close supervision; being committed, reliable, trusted, and accountable for completing work activities; regularly and dependably being at work on time (i.e. good punctuality); and willingness to accept schedule changes or work additional hours as required by the company.\\n\\tCompany Representation: Supports the reputation of the company and its services.
