The physician is a licensed, autonomous provider executing professional clinical judgment in the care of his/her patients, according to the clinical practice guidelines, policies and procedures set forth by the Agency. The physician is responsible for providing comprehensive primary medical care to patients, within the limits of the training and licensure of a physician. The physician works in a collaborative manner with other members of the patient care team to facilitate care.
