font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Raba Kistner is seeking a dependable <strong><u>Project Manager I</u>&nbsp;</strong>to join our Infrastructure team in <strong><u>South Carolina.</u></strong> Under close supervision, the Project Manager I is responsible for all area or project operations, as determined by the size and nature of the project, including construction inspection and material testing operations to ensure compliance with project plans, approved shop/working drawings, and specifications. &nbsp; Under close supervisory guidance, is responsible for performing a combination of the following duties:</span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;</span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Plan, schedule and coordinate construction inspection activities and material testing operations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Implement and oversee compliance with administrative and business operation activities including human resources, training programs, inventory, safety and budget monitoring.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Review and recommend approval of applications for payment.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Oversee Area Office record management operations.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Meet with contractor&#39;s supervisors or other project leaders on assigned project sites to discuss and coordinate testing, sampling, or inspection of construction materials or construction procedures to verify compliance with the approved plans, specifications and shop/working drawings.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Review plans, specifications, and shop/working drawings for project activities.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Resolve differences in the interpretation of plans and specifications.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Perform Operational Walk Through and Competency Testing.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Review implementation of established procedures and implement preventive and corrective actions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Responsibilities as contained within the RKI Quality Management System.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Carry out assigned duties in accordance with established procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Maintenance of license and/or certifications at the time of employment or obtained during employment.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Submittal of accurate, legible, comprehensive, and complete testing and/or inspection reports on a daily basis in accordance with project Quality Plan.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate major technical engineering assignments.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Review construction inspection procedures of assigned supervisors and/or inspectors and clarifies procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Assign work priority tasks to assigned direct reports and/or inspector(s).</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Minimum ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in transportation engineering, seven (7) years of construction management and four (4) years supervisory experience.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; text-align: justify;\">Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet firm&rsquo;s auto insurability requirements.</li></ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Good oral and written communications skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel. Intermediate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
