This is a digital community practice and that leverages evidence based medicine and patient education to risk stratify and guide patients through the perioperative continuum. This is a contract to hire position that is 80% remote and 20% at the local hospital / client site. Ideal candidate will live in the Jacksonville, FL region. We are currently seeking out applicants with licensure in the state of FL, with a strong preference given to practitioners licensed in multiple states (or willingness to expand)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for a responsible Nurse Practitioner to manage day to day operations of the HealthePath program and oversight of several support personnel. Ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the asynchronous patient intake queue to ensure accuracy of patient information, clinical conflicts, post operative digital recovery tracking, and the identification of necessary outreach and referral appropriateness. Customer success is imperative, and this role will interface with the local preoperative admission testing center. A great Nurse Practioner is a highly qualified professional and a compassionate individual. You must have prior experience in a remote work environment and perioperative care. Moreover, thoughtful engagement / soft skills with surgeon offices and anesthesiologists.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>· Conduct routine reviews of patient digital intake (asynchronous) to assess their health condition and discover possible issues as a patient prepares for surgery</p>\n<p>· Asynchronous clinical review of patient chart for the appropriate referral</p>\n<p>· Manage support staff (likely, medical assistants) for timeliness of outreach, patient engagement, and asynchronous clinical reviews (when appropriate)</p>\n<p>· Continuous attention of customer success factors, such as: early identification of patient escalation(s), application troubleshooting and triaging, active involvement in select client / hospital operations (PAT clinic)</p>\n<p>· Daily management of the patient queue for processing to the clients’ preadmission testing center</p>\n<p>· Gaining proficiency of the software and operational processes</p>\n<p>· Ongoing attention to clinical technology enhancements and identification for IT team</p>\n<p>· Collaboration with client / hospital preadmission testing team, surgeons, surgeon office staff and others, for customer success and patient navigation needs.</p>\n<h2><p>Qualifications</p></h2>\n<p>Skills</p>\n<p>· Proven experience as a Nurse Practioner and perioperative care</p>\n<p>· Prior management experience and collaboration with medical assistants</p>\n<p>· Proficiency in using telehealth applications</p>\n<p>· Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications</p>\n<p>· Familiarity with perioperative clinical pathways for patient clearance appropriateness</p>\n<p>· Excellent oral and written communication skills</p>\n<p>· Respect for patient’s confidentiality</p>\n<p>· Compassionate and approachable</p>\n<p>· Management of clinical support staff</p>\n<p>· Ability to travel (and have transportation) to client site periodically</p>\n<p>· Responsible and trustworthy</p>\n<p>· Nurse Practioner (NP) and valid license to practice the profession in the state of FL</p>\n<h2><p>Company Information</p></h2>\n<p>US Anesthesia Partners (USAP) is a single-specialty, physician-owned organization dedicated to providing high-quality anesthesia services.
