In-Home Care staff are considered essential to the health and well-being of our residents.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential Job Duties</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists client in the activities of daily living including, but not limited to transfers, ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, personal hygiene, and activities as appropriate</li>\n <li>Change bed linens, wash and iron resident laundry, and light housekeeping duties</li>\n <li>Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to clients to assist in keeping them mentally healthy and alert</li>\n <li>Perform a variety of duties as requested by the client, such as obtaining household supplies and running errands in a prompt manner</li>\n <li>Plan, prepare, and serve meals to clients as needed</li>\n <li>Provide companionship to Doctor’s appointments and other engagements as needed</li>\n <li>Promptly reports client changes and any unusual occurrences to the supervisor</li>\n <li>Accurately documents required data in a timely manner using appropriate forms</li>\n <li>Follows established performance standards and performs duties according to facility policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates appropriate action immediately, while maintaining the client’s safety</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>When you enter a community managed by Life Care Services, you’ll immediately feel the warmth of our Hospitality Promises:&nbsp;</u></strong></p>\n<ol>\n <li>We greet you warmly, by name and with a smile.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We treat everyone with courteous respect.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We anticipate your needs and act accordingly.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We hold ourselves and one another accountable.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We make you feel important.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We embrace and value our differences.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We ask, “Is there anything else I can do for you?”&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>We pay attention to details. &nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
