Our leading brands include<strong> ITT Cannon, Enidine, Aerospace Controls</strong> and <strong>kSARIA. </strong></p>\n<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>ITT Inc. is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Product Design Engineer with mid-level development experience in the connector industry to join the ITT Cannon Connectors North America team.</p>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>General engineering product setup, design and management</li>\n <li>Engineering BOM creation, documentation creation and updates</li>\n <li>Design of new components and assemblies</li>\n <li>Manage and plan multiple activities related to Engineering, Product Management and Operational support for new product development</li>\n <li>Multi-functional team member representing Product Engineering</li>\n <li>Testing support and overview within a Product Evaluation Lab</li>\n <li>Work closely with Field Application Engineering</li>\n <li>Requires visibility to export controlled documents and information</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Position Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li>\n <li>7+ years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical product design in connectors</li>\n <li>CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience</li>\n <li>ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks</li>\n <li>Highly self-motivated and a willingness to make a difference</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Additional Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in electrical connectors and the Aerospace & Defense industry.</li>\n <li>Experience in Filters, Fiber Optics, Micro-miniature and/or High-Speed Data transfer a plus</li>\n <li>Knowledge in the use of high-performance thermoplastics, aluminums and copper alloys and the manufacturing requirements needed to utilize them</li>\n <li>Knowledge in MIL-DTL, Mil-STD and similar industry specifications and requirements.</li>\n <li>Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Manufacturability (dfM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) principles.</li>\n <li>The ability to travel periodically (up to 20%)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Safety is a core value at ITT.
