This position supports all aspects of golf operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, professionalism, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is driven, service-oriented, and actively pursuing a career within the PGA of America.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Assist in the daily management of all golf operations, ensuring seamless execution and elite service standards</p></li>\n <li><p>Supervise and support golf operations and member services staff</p></li>\n <li><p>Help develop, motivate, and lead staff to maintain exceptional service, cleanliness, and professionalism</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as a key point of contact for members, fostering strong relationships and engagement</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in tournament operations, leagues, and club events using Golf Genius and related systems</p></li>\n <li><p>Support all aspects of the merchandising cycle, including display, inventory, and sales</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain a visible presence by interacting and playing golf with members</p></li>\n <li><p>Uphold and maintain personal golf skills at a respectable and competitive level</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist in onboarding and training new staff as directed by the Head Golf Professional</p></li>\n <li><p>Ensure all operations align with club policies, standards, and team principles</p><p> </p></li>\n <li><p>Communicate effectively with senior golf staff regarding daily operations and member feedback</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Professional Expectations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with a luxury club environment</li>\n <li>Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality when interacting with members</li>\n <li>Exhibit a proactive, “anticipate needs” service mentality</li>\n <li>Represent the club with integrity both on and off the golf course</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively pursuing membership in the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program</li>\n <li>Level 1 PGA Associate or Level 1 completed preferred</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Fundamental knowledge of:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>o The game of golf and Rules of Golf</p>\n<p>o Golf facility operations</p>\n<p>o League and tournament operations</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of basic supervisory practices and team leadership</li>\n <li>Excellent written, verbal, and computer communication skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>o Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)</p>\n<p>o Golf Genius Tournament Software</p>\n<p>o GHIN handicap system</p>\n<p>o Online tee sheet/booking platforms</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Self-motivated with a strong interest in marketing and promoting the golf program</li>\n <li>Demonstrates a positive, professional, and service-driven personality</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leadership and team development</li>\n <li>Member service excellence</li>\n <li>Organization, planning, and prioritization</li>\n <li>Initiative and accountability</li>\n <li>Relationship-building with a high-end membership</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job posting will close on June 30th 2026 unless filled sooner. </p>",
