Description
Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; South Jersey; North Delaware. This position is open to collect resumes in anticipation of upcoming work.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary project liaison with campus staff and manage projects from initiation through completion of construction. Facilitate timely decisions by campus representatives and report progress and issues impacting the project goals to stakeholders. Manage facility user groups, operations, and administration during design and contract administration to ensure timely input. Resolve conflicts and facilitate decisions to ensure project goals are met. Manage planning, design, and execution of projects by providing project leadership, communication, and coordination. Lead meetings with owner, architects, and contractors and provide leadership in client relations. Responsible for project budget, scheduling, and procurement of design and construction services. Drive progress of consultants to achieve expected functionality and recommend alternatives to recover negative drift. Ensure design and construction documents comply with project requirements. Facilitate timely review of contract documents at schematic design, design development, and construction document phases of the work. Review and approve design, construction contracts, changes, technical service contracts, guaranteed maximum price submittals, bid documents, and pay applications. During construction, direct and/or provide support to Resident Construction Manager, Senior Construction Inspectors, Construction Inspectors, and institution staff in management of construction activities and processes. Apply project control processes to track progress, maintain consistency, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience providing professional project management and leadership with vertical experience. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering related fields. Experience in healthcare and research is required. Experience working on multiple large healthcare projects within the construction industry is required. Registration as Professional Architect or Engineer is preferred.
