Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Must have a valid driver's license. Previous tech experience preferred but not required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs patient related tasks assigned by therapist</li>\n <li>Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department.</li>\n <li>Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.</li>\n <li>Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.</li>\n <li>Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.</li>\n <li>Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.</li>\n <li>Assists therapist with other patient related treatment activities as appropriate and providing equipment.</li>\n <li>Assist with patient related activities including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent required</li>\n <li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.</li>\n <li>Must have at least <strong>1 year </strong>of experience as a therapy tech or nursing technician</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#BSWIR- Outpatient </p>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>",
