This position is an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) which will be either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the role. The APP must hold a current licensure in the State of Texas and is responsible for managing the care of and addressing the health concerns of the women who come to The Source. This care is in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the medical standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). The APP will collaborate with the Medical Director (Supervising Physician) according to state laws and regulations. The APP will also collaborate with other members of the staff and healthcare team to provide high quality care.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life and sexual purity.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of the center.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Current Advanced Practice Register Nurse (APRN) / Physician Assistant (PA) licensure and National Physician Assistant Certification (NCCPA certification)</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Essential Job Functions</span></span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide holistic care to patients relating to their physical, spiritual, and emotional health.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide women’s health exams, including pelvic exams, pap tests, and breast exams.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide full scope STI testing and treatment.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide pregnancy testing and limited obstetric ultrasounds.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide patient pregnancy and sexual health education, and referrals.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Document clinical findings, observations, and medical care in patient record.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Review any clinical findings indicating concern for the viability of the pregnancy or health of the patient with the Medical Director as needed.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Provide appropriate referrals for emergency consultation and care.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Assist the Medical Director/Supervising Director with miscellaneous tasks.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Maintain an appropriate standard of care established by experts in the field (aka, CDC, AIUM, ACOG, etc.)</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">• Comply with state and professional continuing education requirements.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
