    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>Performs construction, fabrication, and installation at company and/or field locations. &nbsp;Operates company vehicles, trailers, construction, and other equipment to layout, prepare and fuse/join and pull various pipeline products. &nbsp;Can communicate with customers directly, interpret both verbal and written requests, and translate into construction or installation activities. &nbsp; Maintains understanding and certifications for a variety of products in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. &nbsp;Works with additional contractors to deliver projects meeting customer needs. &nbsp;Performs on-call services for emergencies and repairs. &nbsp; Helps mitigate additional damage in emergency/repair situations using various shutoff methods including squeeze offs.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Fabricates, fuses HDPE products using multiple approved methods and completes installation.</li><li>Threads/glues/cures fiberglass products and completes installation.</li><li>Performs make-up/glues/crimps composite products and completes installation.</li><li>Make-up of other mechanical connections including tie-in to existing lines.</li><li>Works with various other contractors (excavation, location, etc) to achieve customer targets.</li><li>Read and understand drawings, plans, etc to translate into actual construction and installation activities.</li><li>Communicates with supervisors and other Milford Team members for project needs.</li><li>Maintains records of construction activities: project/task progress, materials used, etc.</li><li>Effectively manages time and materials to minimize costs.</li><li>Ability to work with minimal or remote supervision. &nbsp; Able to exercise sound judgement in modifying processes/plans to accomplish goals in a safe manner.</li><li>Maintains relevant training and credentials according to Milford, product manufacturer and customer requirements.</li><li>Transport equipment and materials to remote locations and sets up working environment in a safe manner.</li><li>Perform duties in multiple pipeline construction arrangements (overhead, above-grade, lowering in, in-ditch) in oilfield, rural and city settings.</li><li>Works with additional construction team members.</li></ul><p><strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>6+ months in a pipeline construction/fabrication role.</li><li>Working knowledge of oilfield equipment/goods.</li><li>Ability to multitask, operate in a fast paced environment and balance competing demands.</li><li>Prioritizes work and follows through tasks to completion.</li><li>Prior experience in multiple HDPE fusion methods. &nbsp;Ability to pass and maintain fusion tech certifications.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>Experience operating various pieces of fusion equipment.</li><li>Must complete and pass various Health, Safety and Environmental trainings and certifications including H2S.</li><li>Safe motor vehicle operator of &frac12; &amp; &frac34; ton pickup trucks</li><li>Ability to tow bumper-pull and gooseneck trailers; able to secure cargo</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to create daily progress reports</li><li>Must pass background, motor vehicle history and drug screening.</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIROMENT:</strong></p><ol><li>Significant outdoor work time in a variety of weather conditions.</li><li>Will frequently need to work in challenging working environment with exposure to hazardous substances.</li><li>Must be able to climb onto raised trucks, trailers or platforms, and into below grade excavations.</li><li>Must be able to wear required PPE as prescribed by Milford HSE.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.</li></ol><p>This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
