    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>Aptive is seeking a <strong>National Program Manager (NPM) – Specialty Clinical Applications</strong> to support VA PBM Clinical Informatics. This role provides national leadership for developing, maintaining, and evolving specialty clinical application programs, ensuring solutions meet VA requirements and align to pharmacy best practices across VistA/Cerner and integrated products.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as lead program manager and PBM Domain Steward for Specialty Clinical Applications, with responsibility for the full lifecycle of program development, maintenance, and evolution</li>\n <li>Lead oversight of Specialty Clinical Applications and cross-collaborate with VA, DOD, and IHS pharmacy partners on informatics initiatives</li>\n <li>Build and sustain effective communication channels between field facilities and national program offices to drive clarity, trust, and team engagement</li>\n <li>Collaborate with VA OI&T, VistA Pharmacy Workgroups, VAMCs, and external stakeholders including the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium, National Library of Medicine, NIH, and FDA</li>\n <li>Synthesize and analyze information from focus groups and end-users to prepare specification requirements for pharmacy applications</li>\n <li>Represent PBM in analysis and guidance of pharmacy software development and implementation for Process Re-Engineering (PRE) and EHRM projects</li>\n <li>Maintain the PBM Master account database for clinical and technical accuracy across Pharmacy Data Management, Inpatient Medications, Outpatient Pharmacy, BCMA, Adverse Reaction Tracking, and other associated files</li>\n <li>Survey user needs, develop software requirement specifications, and support phased implementation, testing, and training programs</li>\n <li>Review proposed regulations and procedural changes and make recommendations to PBM-CI leadership on needed policy and system updates</li>\n <li>Provide technical training to VHA Pharmacy Informatics Specialists on Specialty Clinical Applications</li>\n <li>Communicate clearly and effectively on complex technical issues with diverse internal and external audiences, including members outside VA</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Pharmacy degree (BS Pharmacy and/or PharmD) and active, unrestricted pharmacist license in a U.S. state/territory/DC.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience supporting or leading pharmacy clinical informatics / EHR initiatives (VistA and/or Cerner preferred).</li>\n <li>Strong ability to translate complex clinical/technical issues into actionable requirements, recommendations, and clear communications.</li>\n <li>Ability to work remotely/telework (remote eligible).</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with specialty clinical pharmacy applications such as pharmacogenomics, BCMA, or Adverse Reaction Tracking</li>\n <li>Experience supporting VA EHRM or other federal EHR modernization efforts</li>\n <li>Prior experience in a national or enterprise-level program management role within VHA or a federal health agency</li>\n <li>Experience collaborating with bodies such as NIH, FDA, NLM, or CPIC</li>\n <li>Technical experience or knowledge in software design or development</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Aptive partners with federal agencies to achieve their missions through improved performance, streamlined operations and enhanced service delivery.
