Position is open until filled Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers Team Members: Now hiring candidates 18 or older for all positions, including gaming licensed positions (Must be 21 or older for Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender) Health Benefits Insurance package effective Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability for FT team members $700 Referral Bonus Program ($350 at 90 days $350 at 6 months) – for Team Members who refer new applicants Discounted Casino bus tickets Discounted RTD EcoPass Hot meal served by the Leadership Team once a month 20% discount for Starbucks, Ara Spa, and all food outlets 100% Colorado Gaming License reimbursement after 90 days of employment Hotel discounts available at all 43 PENN properties, plus discounts on goods and services Education reimbursement program and Annual Scholarship Program Career development opportunities Responsibilities include: Maintains Title 31 Compliance; including but not limited to, thorough auditing of daily Title 31 paperwork. Assists in maintaining and regularly updating the property’s AML/BSA program to comply with industry best practices. Assists in identifying AML/BSA risk and implementing mitigating controls. Accurate and timely completion of CTRs and SARs, issuance and tracking of departmental incident reports. Record retention of all Title 31 documentation as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and Ameristar Casinos document retention policy. Retrieve, audit, and maintain computer reports, spreadsheets, and Word document files for the daily Title 31 Audit. Preparation of incident reports and maintenance of logs. Complete special projects as assigned. Assistance with in-house investigations and routine audits. Research and document inquiries from federal and state regulatory agencies, court systems, and tax authorities. Assist with audit and documentation of the Responsible Gambling Program and the routine assessment of the property’s Responsible Gaming efforts, to ensure compliance with State requirements, reporting any identified failures to the Director of Regulatory Compliance. Assist with educating team members from other departments, in Title 31 and Responsible Gaming. Will act as the point of contact for Compliance related matters in the absence of the Director of Regulatory Compliance. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters related to Ameristar’s compliance department. BRING US YOUR BEST. 2 years audit experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License. Strong problem solving, mediation, and consulting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fully competent in Microsoft Office. Ability to research and interpret federal and state regulations. Ability to work within the guidelines of Title 31, Internal Controls, and Colorado Division of Gaming regulations. Ability to review documents for regulatory requirements. Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to handling/resolving issues. Ability to take and follow directions. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail oriented.
