Construction Estimator
Westford, MA
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

About the Role
The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing project estimates, scope development, subcontractor procurement and relations, evaluation of price proposals, compliance by subcontractor and manufacturers with contractual requirements and project specifications.
Core Functions and Responsibilities:
Subcontractor and supplier management including development of terms and conditions. Attend pre-bid meetings, job sites, and assist with preparation of RFI’s. Review project for viability and make recommendations. Assist with development of project schedule. Assemble all project costs done by Division of Work. Build database of historical information for future reference. Prepare the “leveling book” to compare subcontractor pricing and scope inclusions/exclusions and recommend which proposals to carry into bid (Building Connected) Identify potential financial risks and contingency recommendations by Division of Work. Develop and implement estimating policies and procedures using Building Connected. Present project pricing presentations to senior management. Oversee project estimates from start to finish. Perform key role in project budgeting and resource identification.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management Minimum of 5-10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction industry. Jobsite experience; site supervision experience is a plus. Professional and effective communication with factories, clients, and subcontractors.
