Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance</p><p>with established procedures. Attend and participate in patient care reports, patient care conferences,</p><p>team conferences, professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities only to</p><p>the extent that such attendance and participation is relative to his/her assigned cases and/or</p><p>performance of services as determined by the supervisor.</p><p><br></p><p>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITES</p><p>&bull; Provides comprehensive medical services and examines patients, using medical instruments</p><p>and equipment.</p><p>&bull; Elicits and records information about patient&rsquo;s medical history.</p><p>&bull; Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on</p><p>patient&rsquo;s condition.</p><p>&bull; Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patient.</p><p>&bull; Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.</p><p>&bull; Promotes health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of</p><p>disease.</p><p>&bull; Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases.</p><p><br></p><p>&bull; Refers patients to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for patient&rsquo;s well-</p><p>being.</p><p><br></p><p>&bull; Review quality reports, assess care gaps and adjust protocol to improve patient&rsquo;s health.</p><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p><p>Lifting, twisting, bending and prolonged sitting or standing may be required. The physical movements</p><p>and the degree of mobility normally associated with the practice of primary care may be required.</p><p>Work under stressful conditions as well as extended hours may be required.</p><p><br></p><p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p><p>Potential occasional exposure to low dose radiation hazards, hazardous chemicals and body fluids and</p><p>waste. Personal protective equipment provided. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases.</p><p><br></p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</p><p>Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program</p><p>Current unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure</p><p>Current Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area</p><p>Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)</p><p>Federal DEA Registration</p><p>Current CPR certification</p><p>Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills required.</p><p>Medicaid provider number obtainable.</p><p>Requires a comprehensive knowledge of primary care in outpatient settings.</p><p><br></p><p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>Minimum of two years clinical experience in a primary care setting.</p><p>Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern medical as related to public health organizations</p><p>and community health programs as well as current social and economic problems pertaining to public</p><p>health and their impact on primary health care.</p></div></div></div>\n",
