    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Position Overview</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We are searching for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Technical Designer to join the Tuckernuck team, with a focus on Bottoms and Outerwear. In this role, you will play a key part in the sample fitting process, collaborate with designers, merchandisers and vendors, and use your technical expertise to ensure the best product is produced. A successful Technical Designer will be fashion-forward, deadline-driven, and possess a strong knowledge of garment fit and construction. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and demonstrate sound knowledge of industry-related software.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Core Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Own the technical development process for Bottoms and Outerwear from initial proto through production approval</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead fittings on live models, providing detailed and accurate fit comments and construction specifications at each stage of development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Create and maintain points of measure and construction specifications for all styles within assigned categories</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Partner with Design and Merchandising to provide technical expertise and ensure alignment on fit, construction, and product expectations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate fit corrections and technical comments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate sample execution</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Track and manage samples through all development stages, adhering to the development calendar</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify construction and fit issues and recommend solutions that balance design intent with production feasibility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain consistency of fit and construction standards across styles within assigned categories</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Stay up to date with the latest techniques in the development of garments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">8-12  years of experience in Technical Design, with a focus in Bottoms and/or Outerwear</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong technical knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, and grading principles, with category expertise in Bottoms and Outerwear</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to assess design feasibility and clearly communicate technical recommendations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deadline-driven and committed to quality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Practical experience with Adobe Illustrator and Gerber Accumark PDS; experience with Airtable a plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Compensation </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $</span><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">90,000-$120,000</span><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-size: 10pt\">; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
