    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced Workshop Mechanic to join our Swanson crew on a permanent basis. Working on a variety of vehicle brands, this role involves proactive and reactive maintenance, COF inspections, and day-to-day repairs across our fleet. Experience with electric vehicles will be a bonus as we transition toward a more sustainable future.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About us</span><br>Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country.<br>We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><br><br></em>About You</span><br>You are a skilled mechanic looking for a change, you want to work for a company that values your skills and work ethic. You ready to make the move!<br>You take pride in your work, you’re a team player and you don’t hesitate to ‘go the extra mile’ to get tasks completed in a timely manner.<br>You follow instructions and do the right thing.
