(a Quanta Services company) </strong>seeks entire <strong>Underground</strong> Crews (Foreman/A Lineman/B Lineman/C Lineman/Operator/Groundman).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Successful candidates will possess existing experience working together as a construction crew  Preference may also be given to candidates who are able to bring along additional qualified candidates to form entire work crews.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SAFETY IS A CORE VALUE FOR OUR COMPANY </strong>so substantial weight will be given in the selection process to candidates demonstrating their shared commitment to safe operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer competitive wages, paid vacation and holidays, a full benefit package including Health, Dental, Vision, Optional Critical Care Insurance, LifeLock Identity Protection and both Company Paid & Supplemental Life Insurance as well. Able to effectively communicate, demonstrate and enforce requirements & best practices.</li>\n <li>Possess advanced understanding of compliance with <strong>OSHA Shoring & Trenching </strong>standards.</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively lead and record Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA) meetings.</li>\n <li>Must have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimal Customer Service.</li>\n <li>Responsible for coordinating essential personnel on-site for the project to include crew mobilization, subcontractors, traffic control, etc.</li>\n <li>Possess comfort level with using new technologies (mobile devices/apps) or show willingness to learn.  Such tools are bringing Jobsite access to improved information and efficiencies. </li>\n <li>Efficiently manage all supplies, materials and equipment necessary to complete assigned work.</li>\n <li>Assist with planning, directing and budget activities concerned with the completion of underground line construction projects.</li>\n <li>Communicate directly with General Foremen, Superintendents, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Line Crews and other project personnel as required.</li>\n <li>Understand and follow detailed construction schedules.</li>\n <li>Possess High School Diploma or Equivalency.</li>\n <li>Able to coordinate & collaborate effectively with multiple levels within company...from fellow field professionals to back office support functions.</li>\n <li>Willing to travel and work away from home.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate & encourage teamwork skills and able to understand, comprehend, and follow directions in the workplace.<strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>A Lineman:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to perform rigorous physical labor as required. Including but not limited to digging, rigging, lifting, rescue operations, etc.</li>\n <li>Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit.</li>\n <li>Possess working knowledge of OSHA Shoring & Trenching Standards.</li>\n <li>Proficient in all aspects of working with energized enclosures.</li>\n <li>Possess professional demeanor and interact in positive way with fellow crew members, general public and customer representatives.</li>\n <li>Proficient in understanding and reading blueprints.</li>\n <li>Able to properly pull in UG conductors.</li>\n <li>Capable of leading crew in preparation/installation of pad mount transformers & enclosures, in absence of Crew Foreman or with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive knowledge of operations in terminating UG conductors & secondaries.</li>\n <li>Capable of executing live switching on UG loops.</li>\n <li>Proficient at operation of Digger Derrick, Backhoe, Trencher, Mini-Excavator, Knuckle Crane, etc.</li>\n <li>Proficient in all aspects of heavy lifting and rigging.</li>\n <li>Must be familiar with induced voltage.</li>\n <li>Proficient in grounding procedures.</li>\n <li>Capable of working Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
