Your attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment directly contribute to the quality and consistency of every dining experience at Live! Casino & Hotel. Through reliability, hard work, and a positive attitude, you help keep the heartbeat of the kitchen running efficiently and uphold the high standards of hospitality that define the Live! brand.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: $17.00/hr </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Clean designated equipment, sinks, refrigerators/freezers, service areas, walls, floors, floors, and Kitchen/Cafeteria/Dumpster/Compactor areas as assigned, following all sanitation requirements.</li>\n <li>Stock kitchen lines, restaurant service areas, and buffet line with designated cleaned wares, utensils, and equipment – handle carefully to prevent breakage</li>\n <li>Transport garbage containers and compactors from kitchen and work areas to dumpsters.</li>\n <li>Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all department policies, procedures and standards.</li>\n <li>Retain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.</li>\n <li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.</li>\n <li>Check the working condition of equipment and machinery in accordance with specifications.</li>\n <li>Inspect the cleanliness and condition of all washed equipment and areas; re-clean items not meeting standards.</li>\n <li>Store cleaned equipment in designated areas.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and working condition of garbage disposal and grease traps.</li>\n <li>Continue cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shift.</li>\n <li>Use designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment to clean various floor surfaces </li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets; remove the trash, wipe down shelves/counters; clean floors; remove items that do not belong and place them in the correct areas.</li>\n <li>Report any damages, maintenance problems, or safety hazards to the supervisor.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all health departments, sanitization, and safety regulations as required.</li>\n <li>Organize and restock work areas for the next shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to use chemicals and equipment; no skin sensitivities.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of OSHA standards/guidelines.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and write basic instructions.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>\n <li>Zero (0) to six (6) month’s foodservice experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Work long hours.</li>\n   <li>Stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.</li>\n   <li>Handle up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.</li>\n   <li>Climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n <li>Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule.
