    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair campus equipment, buildings and grounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Well-rounded individual with mechanical aptitude, drive, and experience in the maintenance and repair of various H.V.A.C equipment, pumps, lighting, minor electrical, plumbing systems, miscellaneous carpentry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Assist with set-up / break-down</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Work as assigned by school’s work order system</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and submit requests for material orders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Remain engaged and up-to-date and informed as to current practices of job-related functions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Display the necessary initiative and dependability to work alone or in groups.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with department policies and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Complete daily work orders and ensure work orders are closed out.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ensure that all work is being conducted in a safe and ethical manner.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for working in compliance with all OSHA and other local, state, and federal government laws and regulations.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br></span><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">This is an intermediate level position where intermediate skills in one or more trades (H.V.A.C., plumbing, electrical, or carpentry)  and a working knowledge of at least one other trade is desired. This position can function independently or may lead small teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Must have computer knowledge, and familiarity with any computerized work order system is a plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Possess a valid driver's license. Subject to MVR check.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Must successfully complete three clearances: FBI Clearance, PA State Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">A minimum four (4) years of successful experience in a general maintenance position.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Hands-on knowledge and experience in the safe operation of a variety of tools, machinery, power equipment, and transportation vehicles used in performing essential functions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow oral and written instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to maintain effective relations with supervisor and fellow employees.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow and apply safety rules and regulations for job assignments and equipment used.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt\">Ability to use tools and equipment as required.</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(89, 89, 89); font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">The Agnes Irwin School is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
