    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Title Examiner- Texas experience required&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>This role is 100% remote</strong></p><p><br>We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Title Examiner with 5+ years of title examination experience with Residential Lot/Block properties. The ideal candidate will perform thorough title searches, review title documents, and prepare commitments. Texas experience is required, and multi-state expertise is valued.<br>Our Title Group is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving consumers, real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations, and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Job Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Conduct a thorough search of the public records and conduct a complete examination to assess property’s status of title, while adhering to regulatory title standards and Underwriter’s policies and procedures.</li><li>Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, trust agreements etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys.</li><li>Responsible for assembling Title Commitments to be used to issue a Final Title Policy.</li><li>Communicate effectively with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers, and Escrow Processing Teams.</li><li>Be willing to mentor junior examiners on various title issues.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Minimum of 5+ years Texas title examination experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of title examination process and procedures, related documentation, and their effect upon title.</li><li>Residential Lot/Block examination experience required, with Acreage (metes and bounds) experience preferred.</li><li>Proficient in the use of Title Data (TIMS) title plant software, Deed Plotter software, have experience with County Government websites).</li><li>Must have good research/ investigation skills and understand legal terms, be aware of new legal developments/legislation that affect real property.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent verbal/written skills and attention to detail, excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Must be able to prioritize according to departmental guidelines, have a high level of organizational skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines, work with constantly changing priorities demonstrate strong follow through, and to follow procedures/processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use various software applications Microsoft Outlook, Word, Acrobat.</li><li>Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-family: Arial;
