    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p><u>General Purpose</u>: &nbsp;To construct and repair buildings and structures under the instruction of the site Superintendent.&nbsp;</p><p><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</u>:</p><ul><li>Install and repair components such as framing, doors, windows, ceilings, drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc.</li><li>Complete finish work such as trim and paint</li><li>Construct or repair sites using the correct materials according to blueprints, specifications, drawings, and/or verbal instructions</li><li>Demolition and site preparation prior to renovation</li><li>Properly transport and dispose of all trash and debris</li><li>Follow all OSHA and safety guidelines</li><li>Knowledge of tools and equipment such as hammers, utility knife, wrench, saws, drills, ladders, scaffolding, etc. and how to properly use them</li><li>Constructing chutes for concrete delivery, and disassembly forms after concrete is set</li><li>Frame structures using metal and/or wood building materials, lumber, or studs</li><li>Install blocking and structural bracing/supports per blueprints or plans</li><li>Read blueprints and accurately transferring layouts to ensure construction is correct</li><li>Apply joint compound/tape to seams and finish smooth when working with drywall</li><li>Sand drywall in preparation for prime and paint</li><li>Ensure correct layout and placement of diffusers, lights, sprinkler heads, etc. after installing acoustical grid ceilings and tiles</li><li>Check doors, window frames, and cabinetry are level and plumb</li><li>Hang door slabs and install hardware</li><li>Prepare substrate install VCT, carpet, sheet vinyl, etc. when working with flooring</li><li>Fabricate and seal dust barriers to contain dust and debris. Place necessary air filtration devices to meet requirements in the work area</li><li>Ensure items such as sticky mats and shoe covers are in place to prevent contamination of surrounding areas</li></ul><p><u>Supervisory Responsibilities</u>: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><u>Education and/or Experience</u>: This position requires GED/high school education; or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p><u>Language Skills</u>: This position&nbsp;requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</p><p><u>Mathematical Skills</u>: This position requires the ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.&nbsp;</p><p><u>Reasoning Ability</u>: This position requires the&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
