    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Web/UI Developer will support the Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) by designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining web-based user interfaces and visualization tools for mission-critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, including AMOSS, WebAMOSS, ISR Systems, and associated analytics platforms.</p>\n<p>This role directly supports real-time air and maritime domain awareness operations used to detect, track, and interdict illicit activity affecting U.S. borders and national security.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Web-based user interfaces for AMOC C4I systems, including WebAMOSS</li>\n <li>Develop responsive and intuitive UI components for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Real-time surveillance displays</li>\n   <li>Data visualization and mapping interfaces</li>\n   <li>Data mining and analytics tools</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Enhance user interfaces using OpenLayers, JavaScript, Apache, and related web technologies</li>\n <li>Integrate web interfaces with backend C4I services and data sources, including radar, flight plan, and sensor data</li>\n <li>Support modernization efforts to achieve feature parity between WebAMOSS and the full AMOSS client</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Database Administrators, Data Scientists, and C4I Engineers to translate mission requirements into technical solutions</li>\n <li>Support configuration management and change control processes (Change Requests)</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and interface design artifacts</li>\n <li>Participate in system testing, integration, and acceptance activities in accordance with DHS and CBP security requirements</li>\n <li>Ensure UI designs meet DHS/CBP enterprise architecture, security, and accessibility requirements (Section 508 National Security Exception applies)</li>\n <li>Provide operational support during deployments, upgrades, and mission-critical events</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>Secret Clearance Required</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related work experience</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years experience demonstrating:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Effective communication with diverse technical and operational teams</li>\n   <li>Ability to work in high-tempo, mission-critical environments</li>\n   <li>Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and documentation</li>\n   <li>5+ years of experience in Web application development OR</li>\n   <li>10+ years of combined software development and UI design experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting C4I, ISR, or mission command systems\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience with:\n    <ul>\n     <li>Linux-based environments</li>\n     <li>Elasticsearch-based query and visualization tools</li>\n     <li>Geospatial data and real-time data streams</li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Familiarity with Agile development and configuration management processes</li>\n   <li>Experience supporting government or DHS/DoD systems</li>\n   <li>Ability to read and understand system architecture diagrams and data flow drawings</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $93,900.00/Yr. - USD $156,800.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
