General Manufacturing &nbsp;Associates learn skills in one or more Production areas &ndash; such as: packaging, warehouse, straightening, broaching, facilities, and grit blasting. &nbsp;This role is a great introduction to Production at Fisher Barton. Fisher Barton values our 3C&rsquo;s Culture, working every day to execute Customer Excellence, A Culture of Fairness, and Community Involvement.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>At Level 1, You will:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Produce, inspect, or package product following work instructions</li><li>Ensure materials are labeled and packaged properly</li><li>Accurately complete daily production and quality paperwork</li><li>Enter data into the computer systems on time</li><li>Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of working areas</li><li>May operate forklift and/or overhead crane to safely move materials</li></ul><ul><li>Warehousing/Packaging Associates may also proper lifting equipment to load and unload materials and/or pallets from trailers or designated storage units</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>At Level 2, You will also:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform Safety audits</li><li>Maintain safe working conditions in area of influence, documenting and correcting acts or conditions</li><li>Participate on 8D/Root Cause/Problem Solving Teams</li><li>Participate in corrective actions, and completing accident investigations</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets necessary to perform production operations</li><li>Perform machine setup/changeover</li><li>Measure part features, checking, and inspecting machining operations and finished product using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, and others</li><li>Monitor and control quality of production pieces by adjusting machine and/or tooling</li><li>Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements as necessary</li><li>Perform troubleshooting to identify issues and address as required</li><li>Perform operator maintenance and/or housekeeping per established schedules</li><li>Create NCR reports when the product doesn&rsquo;t meet our standards</li><li>Enter accurate time and job information into Epicor</li><li>Write and updating work instructions</li><li>Train team members in your area(s)</li><li>Provide or direct training of new personnel, ensuring that proper training procedures are followed</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><em>The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
