    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Category/Shift:</strong></p><p>Hourly Full-Time</p><p>1st shift for training, then 3rd shift</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Location:</strong></p><p>Binghamton Container</p><p>1240 Conklin Road</p><p>Conklin, NY 13748</p><p>607-775-1550</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>:</p><p>($34.03/hr.)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><p>•At least 18 years of age</p><p>•Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience</p><p>•Eligible for employment in the US</p><p><u>AND </u>the following:</p><p>• At least three (3) years of work experience in INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL systems</p><p>• <u>Must be willing to meet the following requirements:</u></p><p>o Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)</p><p>o Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills</p><p>o Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment</p><p>o Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment</p><p>o Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment</p><p>o Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule</p><p>o Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification</p><p>o Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis</p><p>o Wear required safety equipment</p><p>It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):</p><p>• Associates degree and/or certification(s) in Industrial Maintenance or other related disciplines within instrumentation/electrical.</p><p>• At least five (5) years of work experience in INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL systems</p><p>• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Job You Will Perform:</strong></p><p>This position will work alongside journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
