The Club &amp; Hub Behavior Technician will work with other staff to teach group activities, lead community-based activities, collect data, and prepare learning materials and curriculum as requested by the Club &amp; Hub Program Supervisor.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Preparation/Materials&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures that adult participants’ arrival and departure times are documented correctly when they start, end, or change services</li><li>Sets up materials and learning environments for adult participant(s) success</li><li>Assists in creating, organizing, and maintaining group activities, clubs, and other necessary materials</li></ul><p><strong>Teaching</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures that each adult participant is actively engaged and making progress towards their individualized program goals and objectives</li><li>Runs group activities and clubs independently or in collaboration with other staff members</li><li>Provides supports as outlined in the individual’s Individualized Services Plan&nbsp;</li><li>Uses evidence-based instructional techniques during program implementation</li><li>Takes advantage of natural teaching opportunities</li><li>Implements behavior support plans (BSP) a</li><li>Implements additional instructional protocols accurately (e.g., meal preparation, toileting, etc.)</li></ul><p><strong>Community-Based Instruction&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Safely transports adult participants to community settings as requested/required</li><li>Ensures that programs are implemented accurately and efficiently while in public</li><li>Takes advantage of natural teaching opportunities in public</li><li>Interacts appropriately and respectfully with other community members</li><li>Assists adult participants in managing valuables including money and personal belongings</li><li>Leaves and arrives on time for community-based activities</li></ul><p><strong>Communication</strong></p><ul><li>Documents adult learner progress with daily progress notes</li><li>Participates in team meetings, case reviews, and all staff meetings as requested</li><li>Coordinates and collaborates with other members of each participant’s multi-disciplinary treatment team</li><li>Communicates with Club &amp; Hub Program Supervisor about programs requiring troubleshooting&nbsp;</li><li>Reports supply needs and inventory status to the Club &amp; Hub Program Supervisor in a timely manner (e.g., reinforcer supplies, program supplies, van maintenance/gasoline, etc.)</li></ul><p><strong>Data Collection and Analysis&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Collects data accurately</li><li>Maintains accurate graphs in digital format&nbsp;</li><li>Updates all program information in data sheets or via electronic data collection in a timely manner (e.g., within 1 business day)</li><li>Takes initiative to problem solve group or individual programming needs</li><li>Communicates any remarkable trends in behavior that might need programming or intervention to Club &amp; Hub Program Supervisor</li></ul><p><strong>Professionalism&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Arrives on time for work</li><li>Shows flexibility to change</li><li>Has a positive attitude towards adult participants and staff</li><li>Adheres to safety protocols</li><li>Makes prudent use of General Leave time</li><li>Assists with special projects and assignments as requested</li><li>Takes on additional responsibilities when work is complete</li><li>Assists in keeping common spaces clean and organized</li><li>Accepts feedback and constructive criticism</li><li>Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of VIA</li></ul><p><strong>Emerging Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Club &amp; Hub Behavior Technicians may assume the following responsibilities as assigned by the Club &amp; Hub Program Supervisor as part of their professional development:</p><ul><li>Analyze and summarize adult performance data</li><li>Assist with assessments and adult program development</li><li>Design and prepare future group activities, clubs, or community-based activities&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Position Type</strong></p><p>This is a full-time position.
