(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill  is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform structural engineering analysis and design for <strong>bridge and transportation-related structures</strong></li>\n <li>Primary duties will be related bridge structural design and inspection, but seeking versatile engineer with broad structural engineering interests</li>\n <li>Serve as the lead designer on simple to moderately complex assignments</li>\n <li>Assist in site investigations to document existing conditions, including bridge inspection</li>\n <li>Perform site inspections for work engineered by our office</li>\n <li>Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects</li>\n <li>Coordinate work product with other in-house engineering staff and architects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>7-15 years of related experience</li>\n <li>NJ PE required, NY PE is a plus</li>\n <li>Bridge inspection experience and certification is a plus</li>\n <li>Prior experience with NJDOT standards, NYCDOT, NYSDOT standards is a plus</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of code requirements</li>\n <li>Experience in using various structural analysis software</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>AutoCad experience a requirement, Revit is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our Culture:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We believe in the power of collaboration.
