Your adventure begins here – because <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Opportunity Changes Everything</em></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">!</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development, implementation and evaluation of programs and activities for youth.</li>\n<li>Encourage and facilitate member participation in activities; provides guidance, instructions, positive encouragement and direction.</li>\n<li>Plan, develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate the delivery of support services to youths.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and develop engaging virtual programs for youth aligned with best practices and core programming areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervises and ensures the safety of youth. Reports problems to the supervisor.</li>\n<li>Maintain and model appropriate personal boundaries with clients.</li>\n<li>Work with youth, families, staff and volunteers to support youth during challenging times.</li>\n<li>Encourage independence, choices, decision-making and problem solving in youth.</li>\n<li>Foster growth of self-esteem and self-concept in an environment that is welcoming and supportive.</li>\n<li>Encourage participation and community involvement amongst the youth.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma, certificate, or relevant experience working with children or youth in recreation, education, or social services.</li>\n<li>Current First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).</li>\n<li>Successful completion of the Agency’s screening process, including a Criminal Record Check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours</span>: casual, Monday – Friday, 3pm-8pm</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Rate of Pay: </span>$20.62 per hour</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Closing Date:</span> June 12, 2026</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><em>As an equal opportunity employer, BGC Okanagan is committed to the prioritization of equitable and inclusive employment practices.
