About the Role As the Senior Project Manager, M&A Integration, you will be the central driver for ensuring the successful post-acquisition merger of newly acquired companies into Loop’s operational model and for achievement of the deal thesis. You will work cross-functionally with company leadership, and functional leaders (Finance, HR, IT, Operations) to create, manage, and execute comprehensive integration plans. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that requires a strategic mindset and meticulous project management discipline. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of end-to-end integration efforts for acquired entities, ensuring alignment with the strategic rationale and operational goals. Develop and manage comprehensive integration project plans, defining clear milestones, workstreams, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure timely delivery of integration milestones and resolution of interdependencies. Design and implement governance frameworks, including facilitating Steering Committee meetings with senior leadership and C-suite executives, providing clear and concise executive-level updates on progress, risks, and required decisions. Engage in due diligence efforts to understand strategic objectives and provide early assessments for integration planning and risk identification. Act as a liaison helping to manage cultural alignment and effective change management strategies. Track integration performance metrics and conduct post-integration reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously refine the M&A integration playbook. Manage project budgeting and resource planning for integration activities. This role is based in Chicago with the expectation of being in the office three days a week About You 5-7 years of professional experience in private equity, management consulting, corporate development, or strategic operations, with extensive experience in M&A integration leadership. Proven success in leading complex, cross-functional integration initiatives for M&A transactions. Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and present to diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives. Strong analytical skills with a practical and structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to define and track key performance metrics. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheet, Asana, or similar). MBA or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
