Together, we are EXP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Are you ready to design your future?</strong></p><p><strong>Be our next&nbsp;Intermediate Pipeline Engineer!</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p>In this role, you will be a part of the&nbsp;Pipeline Engineering&nbsp;team, of the&nbsp;Energy Services, based in&nbsp;Houston Office&nbsp;and have the opportunity to work on the broad range of&nbsp;renewable,&nbsp;natural gas or oil projects.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A role performing engineering design work as the everyday task.</li><li>Oil and gas project experience, understanding of CFR Parts 192 and 195.</li><li>Problem solving skills and ability to find resolutions with limited oversight.</li><li>Pipeline Engineers can perform with very limited oversight – hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pipe spec, HDD calculations, workspace layout, prepare alignment sheets, site specific drawings, feasibility studies, routing, cost estimates. material take-offs, etc.</li><li>Understanding of CAD and GIS applications and how they can be used to assist in completing work deliverables.</li><li>Ability to coordinate with additional staff to complete tasks and finalize deliverables.</li><li>Can provide direction to drafting designers to complete design drawings including plot plans, plan and profile drawings, site specifics, alignment sheets, HDDs, material take-off, etc without management oversight.</li><li>Can provide direction to GIS mappers to complete maps including route maps, project maps, survey maps, geohazard mapping, progress maps, footprint maps, access road maps, etc.</li><li>Can provide direction to complete data analysis, drawing and mapping assignments without management oversight.</li><li>Interacts with various personnel, clients and&nbsp;stakeholders during&nbsp;assigned projects.</li><li>Organized and has an understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality requirements. Can follow read, understand and comply with procedures in regard to reviewing, documenting, validating, monitoring and improvement.</li><li>Can assist with proposal writing, understands scope development and the preparation of execution plans.</li><li>Ability to travel for field exercises, reconnaissance, field truthing, verification, surveys, etc. as projects dictate.</li><li>Willingness to learn new engineering fields of study and technologies and support other professional disciplines to build upon current experience level and increase the engineering team’s knowledge base and productivity.</li><li>Understanding of safe work practices, support project specific safety plans and willingness to participate in the workplace safety initiatives and culture.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Previous experience working for natural gas or liquid pipeline operators or engineering consultants.&nbsp;</li><li>Project experience including pipelines and pipeline facilities (valves, traps, meters, etc.) and coordination with project stakeholders such as right-of-way, environmental, survey, etc.</li><li>Actual experience preparing alignment sheets, HDD designs, routing studies, ROW layout, workspace, RMV placement and rationale, geohazards, plot plans, material take-offs, cost estimates, etc.</li><li>Actual design experience, completing design calculations, reviewing and understanding specifications and code, providing oversight for the preparation of design drawings, reviewing drawings and approving them.</li><li>An E.I.T or P.E. preferred but not mandatory.<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\"><li>5-10 years’ experience</li></ul></li><li>Renewable,&nbsp;natural gas or oil projects, including but not limited to high pressure transmission pipelines, compression, storage, gathering, treating, and processing a plus.</li><li>Carbon capture and renewable energies such as H2 transmission, solar and wind also a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul>",
