We are looking for skilled and motivated Machine Operators for our Fort Myers, FL concrete block manufacturing facility. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain work area in clean and hazard free condition. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate machine control panels with electronic switches. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Visually inspect products and by-products for conformity to prescribed quality standards such as color, shape and corners. Remove poor quality products and by-products as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Make minor adjustment and repairs on machinery, such as removing jams. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor the operation of manufacturing equipment to detect and report malfunctions. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform quality control and fill out documentation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Empty reject dumpsters, clean loose material from around conveyors and batching equipment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other functions and duties as required or directed, such as assisting with maintenance, cleaning and repair of machinery. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all safety rules. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Use, read and understand rulers and tape measures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Read, write and speak English as required by safety standards and job expectations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic math skills, i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, averaging, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpersonal and teamwork skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, squatting and crawling. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift concrete products and other objects weighing up to 95 pounds each from floor level to heights up to 4 feet. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to climb ladders to heights of 7 feet or more. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>The appropriate candidate will possess at least 1-year experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to perform duties requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and crawling at least 50% of shift. Requires standing 75% of shift (Based on 8 ~ 12-hour shift). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift concrete products and other objects weighing up to 95 pounds each from floor level to heights up to 4 feet. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to climb ladders up to 7 feet to access material hoppers and equipment platforms. </li>\n</ul>",
