Lead Product Manager – Card Issuing We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager – Card Issuing to build and scale our card issuing platform from 0→1 . This is a highly strategic and execution-driven role responsible for launching and evolving our card program, working across banking partners, payment networks, processors, and internal teams to deliver a best-in-class card experience. You’ll own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for card issuing , from infrastructure and program setup to consumer-facing experiences and card lifecycle management. This role is ideal for a product leader who has successfully launched card programs before , understands the complexities of payments infrastructure, and thrives in fast-paced fintech environments. If you’ve built card issuing products at a leading fintech, neobank, or crypto platform , and enjoy solving complex financial infrastructure problems while delivering elegant consumer experiences, we’d love to talk. What You’ll Do Own the 0→1 development and launch of our card issuing program , including physical and virtual cards. Define and execute the card issuing product roadmap , from infrastructure and integrations to user-facing features. Work closely with issuing banks, payment processors, and card networks (Visa/Mastercard) to launch and scale our card program. Lead the development of core card functionality , including card provisioning, tokenization, authorization flows, controls, dispute handling, and lifecycle management. Build and optimize consumer card experiences , including card activation, spending controls, notifications, and transaction visibility. Partner deeply with engineering, compliance, risk, and operations to design reliable and compliant payment flows. Drive integrations with wallets, crypto infrastructure, and digital asset products where relevant. Translate complex payments infrastructure into simple, trusted consumer experiences . Monitor card program performance including authorization rates, fraud metrics, transaction success, and operational reliability . Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integrations and operational excellence . Identify opportunities to improve card economics, product differentiation, and user engagement. What We’re Looking For 8+ years of Product Management experience , with meaningful time spent in fintech or payments. Direct experience launching or scaling a card issuing program (0→1 or major rebuild). Deep familiarity with card issuing infrastructure , including banks, processors, and card networks. Experience working with authorization flows, transaction lifecycle, disputes, and card controls . Strong understanding of payments architecture and financial systems . Ability to operate in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership and ambiguity . Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, operations, and external partners . Strong product instincts and ability to translate complex systems into great user experiences . Preference for candidates who can work hybrid in our NYC office. Nice to Have Experience with crypto products, wallets, or digital asset platforms . Prior work on neobanking, embedded finance, or modern fintech infrastructure . Experience integrating with wallets such as Apple Pay / Google Pay . Familiarity with BIN sponsorship, program management, and card program compliance . Background working in high-growth fintech or early-stage startups .
