The graduate assistants will assist with sports information and/or marketing and fan engagement efforts for the University’s 14 intercollegiate varsity sports. Located in Brownwood, Texas, Howard Payne is a member of NCAA Division III and the American Southwest Conference.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the creation and execution of in-game entertainment plans for all home games, including scripts, music, promotions, fan interaction elements, and sponsor activations.</li>\n<li>Assist with creating engaging creative content for use on social media channels and athletics website.</li>\n<li>Implement a comprehensive content calendar across social platforms to ensure timely coverage of athletic events, features, and campaigns.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement marketing and fan experience plans for various sports, as assigned.</li>\n<li>Serve as primary media contact for assigned sports.</li>\n<li>Organize and record game statistics at athletic events and provide timely reporting of results to media outlets &amp; ASC.</li>\n<li>Assist with team coverage through written content including game previews and recaps, as well as features highlighting team as a whole as well as individual student-athletes.</li>\n<li>Aid with the production of video streaming of home athletic events.</li>\n<li>Assist with maintenance of videoboards, sound systems, gameday technologies.</li>\n<li>Organize, promote, and manage special events at Howard Payne home games as assigned by the athletic administrative staff.</li>\n<li>Assist in the management of student and game staff workers.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all NCAA and American Southwest Conference rules and regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br>-Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, physical education, kinesiology, sport management or related fields. <br>- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. <br>- Availability to work evenings and weekends. <br>- Admission to a Howard Payne graduate program.
