    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Senior Project Engineering role in the Corporate Cylinder Support Group with the responsibility to lead and execute on a broad range of moderately to highly complex projects primarily associated with Capital Expenditures. Projects will include equipment procurement and installation; facility upgrades (new builds, renovations, additions); process improvements; acquisitions and consolidations; WI new product development and modification projects; and other equipment, process, and facility enhancements. Projects will be stand-alone projects or portions of a larger project managed by others. Engineer to actively participate in facilities continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives (Kaizens, 2P, etc).&nbsp; Engineer expected to work with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, EH&amp;S, Security, QC, Supply Chain, Regulatory and other applicable personnel and groups as necessary to achieve project goals.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Project management Responsibilities&nbsp;\n  <ul>\n   <li>Develop project scope and objectives</li>\n   <li>Develop/manage budget and schedules</li>\n   <li>Direct and support project team</li>\n   <li>Identify and manage project risk and issues</li>\n   <li>Communicate project status/metrics/etc to stakeholders and senior management</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and provide support to other departments as necessary (Sales, multiple manufacturing facilities, etc.)</li>\n <li>Design &amp; develop new products through New Product Development process</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comfortable with direct, on shop floor interaction for problem solving, planning and project mgmt.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal communication skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and self-driven</li>\n <li>Sound decision making skills &amp; problem solving skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of computer based software (i.e, ACAD, SolidWorks, PLC) desired</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) &amp; Adobe Acrobat</li>\n <li>Manufacturing background with capital project experience is highly desired.&nbsp; Examples include equipment selection, procurement, and installation; process / manufacturing improvement projects; and facility acquisition, relocation, and closure projects.</li>\n <li>Fundamental knowledge of machine design and operating principles</li>\n <li>Fundamental knowledge of machine repair and trouble-shooting practices</li>\n <li>Fundamental knowledge and/or ability to familiarize oneself with product design codes and standards (DOT, ASME, NBIC, NFPA, CGA, EN, etc)</li>\n <li>Fundamental knowledge and/or ability to familiarize oneself with product and process design techniques (APQP, Flow Charts, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, ISO, etc.)</li>\n <li>Travel varies, but can reach 50%.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering (ABET accredited Mechanical, Electrical, or Welding preferred)</li>\n <li>Minimum of 8-10 years of related project experience</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)</li>\n <li>Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
