Premier Produce distributes produce to restaurants, hotels, and businesses in the hospitality industry. This position entails delivering palletized, refrigerated produce within the state of Florida. Route drivers are given local routes that DO NOT require any overnight stays.&nbsp;</p><p>This position is responsible for but not limited to making deliveries to customers within the assigned delivery window and providing exceptional customer service.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Follow all work rules, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.</li><li>Follow all DOT rules and regulations while operating company equipment.</li><li>Obey safety rules pertaining to lifting and handling of product and equipment, and report to supervisor all problems that interfere with a proper and safe work environment.</li><li>Maintain standards of cleanliness and proper dress code, i.e., uniforms.</li><li>Maintain required contact with the dispatch for work schedules, route assignment, credit issues, and all other needs as they arise.</li><li>Review all pre-trip paperwork for accuracy such as invoices corresponding with merchandise, route sheets for customer numbers, C.O.D.&#39;s</li><li>Collect on all C.O.D.&#39;s upon delivery to the customer when applicable.</li><li>Unload and check all pallets for accuracy at the time of delivery (<em>must wear approved footwear when performing delivery activities</em>).</li><li>Obtain signatures on paperwork from the customer along with a store stamp if applicable.</li><li>Return all paperwork to dispatch at end of the day.</li><li>Check the temperature in the truck during the route to ensure the product is being transported at the proper temperature.</li><li>Clean out the truck of all returns and reclamation upon return to the facility and place it in the designated area.</li><li>Immediately report any accident and or incident to the supervisor and follow proper protocol.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities and Duties</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>CDL is required</strong>, must have 1-year experience driving Tractor-trailer Trucks,</li><li>Must have a clean driver&#39;s license (no points)</li><li id=\"isPasted\" style='box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; font-family: \"Noto Sans\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, \"Liberation Sans\", Roboto, Noto, sans-serif !important; list-style: inside disc !important; font-weight: bold; color: rgb(184, 49, 47);'><strong><u>Drivers must be at least 25 years of age!!!</u></strong></li><li>Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card</li><li>Must pass a Physical Road Test Evaluation</li><li>Clean Criminal Background</li><li>Must pass a drug test upon employment as well as through random drug screenings</li><li>At least 1 year (verifiable) truck driving experience.</li><li>Responsible for offloading trucks using a hand truck.</li><li>Reviewing, issuing, and receiving the signed invoices.</li><li>Responsible for checking all orders loaded and off-loaded with daily Pre/Post Trip route logs.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualifications and Skills</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional communication skills</li><li>Extremely Reliable and Dependable</li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule, <strong>including Saturdays</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>Great benefits after 90 days:</p><ul><li>Company Provided PTO up to 4 days annually</li><li>Vacation up to 2 weeks/annually</li><li>Medical Insurance (company subsidized)</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance (100% paid by the company, 1x annual salary)</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Flexible Hours</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
