This role requires strong attention to detail, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances in a production or toolroom environment.&nbsp;This candidate should be able to operate high-precision Wire EDM equipment in a hands-on machining role where your accuracy and expertise directly impact quality and production performance.&nbsp;</span></p>\n <p><strong>The schedule will be: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM to 12:30 AM&nbsp;</strong></p>\n <div>\n  <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Set up and operate <strong>Wire EDM machines</strong> (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Makino, or similar)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Read and interpret <strong>blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&amp;T requirements</strong></span></li>\n   <li><span>Perform <strong>program edits and basic programming</strong> (G-code or CAM-generated programs)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Select proper materials, wire types, and cutting conditions</span></li>\n   <li><span>Monitor machining processes to ensure <strong>precision and surface finish requirements</strong></span></li>\n   <li><span>Inspect parts using <strong>micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable)</strong></span></li>\n   <li><span>Troubleshoot machine issues, wire breaks, and dimensional deviations</span></li>\n   <li><span>Perform <strong>routine maintenance</strong> on EDM equipment (filters, wire threading, dielectric fluid checks)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Maintain accurate documentation of setups, offsets, and job progress</span></li>\n   <li><span>Support toolroom or production teams with <strong>tight-tolerance components and tooling</strong></span></li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)</span></li>\n   <li><span><strong>2–7 years of Wire EDM experience</strong> in a tool &amp; die or precision machining environment</span></li>\n   <li><span>Strong understanding of:&nbsp;</span>\n    <ul>\n     <li><span>Electrical discharge machining principles</span></li>\n     <li><span>Blueprint reading and tolerancing</span></li>\n     <li><span>Precision measurement techniques</span></li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li><span>Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs/setups</span></li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Preferred Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Experience with <strong>CAM software</strong> (Mastercam, Esprit, etc.)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Knowledge of <strong>tool &amp; die, mold, or fixture manufacturing</strong></span></li>\n   <li><span>CNC machining background (milling or grinding would be a plus)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Familiarity with <strong>lean manufacturing and continuous improvement</strong></span></li>\n   <li><span>Experience holding <strong>tight tolerances (±.0002” or better)</strong></span></li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Standing for extended periods in a shop environment</span></li>\n   <li><span>Manual dexterity for setup and inspection tasks</span></li>\n  </ul>\n  <p>Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) offers competitive wages and comprehensive benefit package that includes, but not limited to: health, dental and life insurances, vacation, quarterly profit sharing, and a 401(K) Plan.</p>\n  <div>\n   WAVE is an equal opportunity employer.
