    "description": "<p>Clinical Nursing Adjunct</p>\n\n<p>Role:</p>\n\n<p>The individual will assume teaching responsibilities, teach assigned classes and/or lab/clinical and</p>\n\n<p>develop coursework needed for teaching under the direction and supervision of the DON (Director of</p>\n\n<p>Nursing).</p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p>The individual will participate in ongoing program evaluation activities as needed and confers with the</p>\n\n<p>DON to ensure compliance with Board policies as well as communicate with the DON as necessary to</p>\n\n<p>resolve student issues or concerns.</p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p>Major Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n\n<p>• Plan and assign student activities in the classroom/lab/clinical setting.</p>\n\n<p>• Maintain records of student progress and performance, attendance and grades, in addition to</p>\n\n<p>preparing, administering, and grading, written and practical examinations.</p>\n\n<p>• Maintains regular communication with Director of Nursing and Full Time Nursing Instructor.</p>\n\n<p>• Participate in ongoing program evaluation activities as needed.</p>\n\n<p>• Confers with the DON to ensure compliance with Board of Nursing regulations.</p>\n\n<p>• Discuss with students their concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to learning</p>\n\n<p>experience.</p>\n\n<p>• Works effectively as part of the faculty team demonstrating positive interpersonal relations,</p>\n\n<p>collaborating with other faculty members to meet student needs, and participating in faculty</p>\n\n<p>meetings.</p>\n\n<p>• Provides expectations and standards for course assignments that demonstrate academic rigor in</p>\n\n<p>accordance with the course module.</p>\n\n<p>• Provides documentation of progress and reports to the DON and Nursing Instructor.</p>\n\n<p>• Maintains student records and progress in either the classroom or lab/clinical setting.</p>\n\n<p>• Performs other duties as assigned in support of students enrolled in the Nursing programs.</p>\n\n<p> </p>",
