With our knowledgeable staff, continuous growth, and unwavering commitment, we aim to maintain our position as the top landscape design/build company in Central Ohio.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Landscape Construction Installation Project Manager to lead commercial landscape installation projects across the Columbus, OH area. This individual will oversee all phases of landscape construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong communication skills, technical landscape knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple crews and job sites simultaneously.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Project Management &amp; Execution</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Oversee commercial landscape installation projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough.</li><li>Interpret landscape plans, specifications, and contracts to establish project scope and requirements.</li><li>Develop schedules, allocate labor and equipment, and coordinate material deliveries.</li><li>Ensure proper execution of hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation, drainage, grading, and other construction components.</li></ul><p><strong>Field Oversight</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead, supervise, and support foremen, crews, and subcontractors on job sites.</li><li>Perform site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.</li><li>Identify and resolve field issues promptly to prevent delays and maintain client satisfaction.</li></ul><p><strong>Client &amp; Stakeholder Communication</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Serve as primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, and suppliers.</li><li>Provide regular project updates, conduct site meetings, and manage change orders as needed.</li><li>Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial clients and industry partners.</li></ul><p><strong>Budget &amp; Documentation</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Track and manage project budgets, costs, and productivity.</li><li>Submit and track material orders, daily reports, and project documentation.</li><li>Ensure timely billing, approvals, and documentation of completed work.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of project management experience in commercial landscape construction or related field.</li><li>Strong knowledge of commercial hardscape/softscape installation, grading, drainage, and site development.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and landscape plans.</li><li>Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and job management software (e.g., LMN, Aspire, or similar).</li><li>OSHA certification or understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus.</li><li>Valid Ohio driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record.</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>Certificates &amp; Licenses</strong></p><ul><li>Construction systems management- bonus.</li><li>NALP / CLIA / ONLA Certified preferred, or willing to obtain within first 6 months.</li><li>OSHAA 30hr Certification preferred, or willing to obtain within first 6 months.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid conditions, working near moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.&nbsp;</li><li>Occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electric shock.</li><li>Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Often required to lift heavy materials exceeding 50lbs.&nbsp;</li><li>Required to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop and bend for long periods.</li><li>Require to use hands and reach with arms.</li><li>Frequent speaking.</li><li>The work may be either indoors or outdoors in areas that are dusty, dirty, in the rain and muddy.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Medical, Dental &amp; Vision options</li><li>Employer paid life insurance, STD &amp; LTD&nbsp;</li><li>401K and Employer Match</li><li>Ancillary Benefits</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Learning and Development opportunities</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY / AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER, Environmental Management Inc. does not discriminate against applicants or employees because of their age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or on any other basis prohibited by law.
