They are responsible for hiring of qualified hospice personnel: the provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; and establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guide­lines. The duties include but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.</li>\n <li>Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues</li>\n <li>Clinical policy and procedure support</li>\n <li>Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies</li>\n <li>Monitoring implementation of correction plans</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.</li>\n <li>A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.</li>\n <li>5 years in healthcare industry preferred</li>\n <li>2 years of experience working in Leadership</li>\n <li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice </li>\n</ul>",
