    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Tacten is recruiting for Rope Access Journeyperson Pipefitters to support our upcoming Fall Turnaround at our client site, CNRL, in Fort McMurray, AB!</strong></p>\n<p>Do you have experience working as a Pipefitter on industrial sites during turnarounds and certified in rope access or interested in becoming certified? If so, apply today!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major turnaround project, expand your technical experience, and work alongside industry-leading professionals in a dynamic industrial setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Start Date: ~August 31, 2026</li>\n <li>Location/Site: CNRL Albian & Horizon - Fort McMurray, AB</li>\n <li>Rotation: 6/1, 12 hour shifts</li>\n <li>Travel: Fly-in/Fly-out from Alberta hubs, Edmonton or Calgary </li>\n <li>Camp accommodations provided</li>\n <li>Certification Requirements: IRATA certification required (or willingness to obtain prior to project start)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Installation and Assembly:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings.</li>\n <li>Assemble and install piping systems and related equipment following specifications.</li>\n <li>Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Install supports, valves, and other control equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Maintenance and Repair:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems.</li>\n <li>Perform regular maintenance to ensure system integrity and performance.</li>\n <li>Replace defective or worn components as necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety and Compliance:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.</li>\n <li>Ensure work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration and Communication:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work collaboratively with other trades, contractors, and team members.</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding project status and any issues encountered.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and less experienced pipefitters.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification required</li>\n <li>IRATA Level 1 certificate required, or willingness to obtain  - training can be provided.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CSTS-09 -or- OSSA BSO </li>\n <li>CSO (Common Safety Orientation)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work safely at heights and in industrial environments.</li>\n <li>Strong work ethics</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license </li>\n <li>Effective communication in English</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
