You'll design secure, distributed systems to protect customer workloads across environments. If you're hands-on, forward-thinking, and love connecting the dots across technology, come build the future with us.</p><p>As a Senior Software Architect you will be:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Leading the design of secure, scalable architecture for micro-segmentation systems</li><li class=\"lst\">Working closely with engineers and product managers to translate vision into reality</li><li class=\"lst\">Acting as the go-to expert for Zero Trust and micro-segmentation architecture</li><li class=\"lst\">Guiding technical decisions that can't be solved with simple search</li><li class=\"lst\">Supporting high-availability services with frequent release cycles</li><li class=\"lst\">Ensuing top-tier customers gain continuous security value from our solutions</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have a B.Sc in Computer Science or related field.</li><li class=\"lst\">Bring 8+ years of experience in software development and R&amp;D</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience designing architecture for distributed software systems</li><li class=\"lst\">Build services within a microservices-based environment</li><li class=\"lst\">Operate in both cloud and on-premise production systems</li><li class=\"lst\">Work with Linux-based infrastructures and deployment environments</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
