We transform behavioral health systems through innovation, creativity and collaboration.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">Job Description:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">We have an opening for a Residential Peer to join our growing team at our residential substance abuse treatment center.  You will be tasked with helping clients with personal hygiene, minor medical needs, housekeeping, and other daily needs as required by the client. To excel in this role, you should have an interest in behavioral health and the ability to work with limited supervision keeping the client’s needs as your top priority. You will need to be able to share lived experience with clients as well as role model a healthy lifestyle. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 28px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Assisting residents with daily personal routines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Providing companionship to residents and establishing a trusting relationship with them.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensuring that residents are taking their prescribed medication as prescribed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Reporting any concerns or medical issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensuring that the residents' living quarters are safe and well-organized.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Keeping records of resident activity, behavior, and moods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Leading group activities and outings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Performing any reasonable requests that residents ask for.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Collaborating with management and coworkers to ensure residents receive the best quality o</span>f treatment possible.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Models and teaches clients vital life skills that will aid in their success</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Monitor client’s ability to comply with house rules and report inconsistency to program </span>manager or direct supervisor.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Well ensure the safety of the facility by completing wellness checks and patrolling </span>propriety.           <span style=\"font-size: 16px\">            </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">                                                              </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have/obtain food handlers card within 30-days of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must obtain CPR/basic first aid training within 30 days of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Lived experience in addiction recovery with a minimum of 6 months’ continuous sobriety </span>prior to hire.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Active in personal recovery by participating in practices that support self-care, health and </span>overall well- being.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Valid Alaska driver’s license.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Qualify for commercial automobile insurance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">First aid and CPR training preferable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Friendly, Positive, and Professional attitude.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be able to pass alcohol and drug screen.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Combination of education, experience, and licensure accepted.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Punctuality and consistent reliability in reporting to work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Efficient time management skills and consistent reliability in reporting to work on time and </span>prepared.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;
