Works closely with project team internally and externally to deliver projects.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><p>Technical</p><p>Under close supervision, performs a variety of engineering tasks, including:</p><ul><li>Assists in collecting data and gathers information or documents for project with guidance.</li><li>Performs standard computations or analysis.</li><li>Assist in preparing drawings and visual aids with guidance.</li><li>Assist in construction activities with guidance.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Project Management</p><ul><li>Review individual weekly project staffing report.</li><li>Understand the tasks and roles assigned to you on a project.</li><li>Communicating with the Internal Project Team and or escalating concerns to Senior Leaders. Limited communication with external design team, based on the project scope. Communicating with the Senior Leaders when the scope, complexity or the duration of the tasks assigned changes.</li><li>Manage your personal time to deliver on all project tasks assigned and communicating to respective Project Managers when there are conflicts or competing schedule demands.</li><li>Increase understanding of QA/QC protocol for all tasks for which you are responsible.</li><li>Increase understanding of client service expectation.</li><li>Increase understanding of key financial performance indicators for successful project completion, including on-time and on-budget objectives.</li><li>Attend meeting with Senior Engineer to discuss active projects.</li><li>Manage Level I projects.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Other duties and responsibilities</p><ul><li>Provide feedback to operational procedures to improve efficiency</li><li>Gain understanding of organizational risk associated with technical design items.</li><li>Develop Engineering and Drawing standard SOP with guidance.</li><li>Participate in hiring interview as needed</li><li>Train new hires, provide guidance to Structural Designer I staff.</li><li>Participate in the performance review/feedback process.</li><li>Assist with preparing for presentations internally and externally.</li><li>Basic understanding of meaningful strategic relationships.</li><li>Understand how role fits into the larger strategic plan of the organization.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)</p><ul><li>B.S. and/or M.S.
