    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Inventory Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory levels in the Mobis Redistribution Center (RDC) and ensuring levels are adequate to meet customer demand by monitoring and forecasting demand trends, managing purchases to support inventory targets and customer fill, and managing sales and inventory data. The incumbent also provides leadership and supervision to the members of the team.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage inventory based on Mobis RDC customers’ (Hyundai/Kia dealers) demand and historical sales trends</li>\n <li>Research demand drivers, and adjust and maintain stocking levels</li>\n <li>Create demand forecast models utilizing option/color/trim/region information for production</li>\n <li>Manage annual and monthly budget and part inventory to increase fill rate and ROI</li>\n <li>Manage research activities to reconcile forecast variance and refine the forecast model based on supplier conditions</li>\n <li>Manage strategy to minimize obsolete stock</li>\n <li>Manage strategies on customer service rate and first fill rate, and evaluate the first fill rate loss factors</li>\n <li>Coordinate and support OEM recalls, campaigns, and special supply projects</li>\n <li>Maintain SRT (supply rule table) quarterly to improve customer order fill rate</li>\n <li>Coordinate meetings with related departments, including Headquarters in Korea, to improve communication and consensus decision-making approach</li>\n <li>Build and maintain the trust and confidence of team and fellow RDC management</li>\n <li>Provide leadership and supervision to workgroup team members to include time and vacation management, coaching, performance management, teambuilding, and training</li>\n <li>Serve as primary liaison between Headquarters in Korea and Mobis RDC (reporting KPIs and performance), ensuring clear and effective communication with Headquarters in Korea</li>\n <li>Manage daily customer orders and back orders</li>\n <li>Prompt, regular, predictable attendance</li>\n <li>Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours</li>\n <li>Overtime and weekend work as required</li>\n <li>All other job duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong>   Yes, 6 Team Members</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven leadership skills</li>\n <li>Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English</li>\n <li>Good communication, analytical, and technical skills</li>\n <li>Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills</li>\n <li>Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Statistics, or related field</li>\n <li>4 or more years of experience in a Supply Chain Management role in a distribution environment</li>\n <li>4 years of experience in a supervisory role</li>\n <li>Inventory/replenishment/forecasting experience</li>\n <li>Automotive industry experience</li>\n <li>Project Management experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification preferred</li>\n <li>Six Sigma certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions:</u></strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>95% Office; 5% Floor</li>\n <li>20% Domestic/ International Travel</li>\n</ul>",
