    "description_html": "<p><br></p><p><strong>S&amp;S Tire of Galax, VA, </strong>a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer is seeking to add a <strong>Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver </strong>to our team!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><u>Warehouse Receiver Tasks:</u></p><ul><li>Loads, unloads, checks, and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]</li><li>Selects, packs, counts, marks, and palletizes tires of customer orders, and places them in the assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system.</li><li>Checks and verifies the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders.</li><li>May Operates order picker, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties.</li><li>Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment.</li><li>Performs required counting, tallying, and marking on related inventory control documents.</li><li>Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories.</li><li>Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of tires.</li><li>Maintain compliance with procedures and policies</li></ul><p><u>Driver Tasks:</u></p><ul><li>Provide excellent customer service to all customers</li><li>Safely operate 16' to 28' box trucks for delivery of products.</li><li>Makes collections from customers for merchandise delivered on a Cash on Delivery basis.</li><li>Makes a list of prospective customers along the designated route to supply the Store Manager with sales follow-up information.</li><li>Ensures good mechanical operation of the vehicle.</li><li>Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each workday and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the Warehouse Manager or designee.</li><li>Completes all driver and vehicle maintenance logs.</li><li>Performs additional responsibilities as requested</li></ul><p><u><strong>Position Includes:</strong></u></p><ul><li><strong>Starting at $16.00/hour dependent on experience and qualifications</strong></li><li>Full-time, permanent position, with weekly pay, and opportunity for overtime</li><li>Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays, shift starting at 7 am</li><li>Health Benefits: Medical, Dental Vision, Life insurance, and more</li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan with Company matching</li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li><li>Employee discounts</li><li><strong>An Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></li><li><strong>Drug-Free Workplace</strong></li></ul>",
