At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values—they are the pillars of our continued success.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Senior Accountant role includes preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate the review, documentation and recording of journal entries</li>\n <li>Complete account reconciliations and resolve any identified discrepancies</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of the monthly/quarterly financial statements and reporting packages to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting</li>\n <li>Assist in the development and preparation of presentations to communicate key financial information including historical and forecasted performance, documenting deviations from budget</li>\n <li>Explore and present opportunities to improve and streamline reporting processes</li>\n <li>Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports for board of directors, auditors, energy projects, and special assignments</li>\n <li>Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner</li>\n <li>Assist Accounting manager and team with a variety of tasks and special projects as requested</li>\n <li>Assist in the coordination of the annual audit</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field</li>\n <li>2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically modeling expertise in Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation experience</li>\n <li>Proficient in accounting software</li>\n <li>Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability</li>\n <li>Effective written and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative team player</li>\n <li>Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and rely on experience and judgement to accomplish goals</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred</li>\n <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working in a public accounting firm, or large publicly traded company is preferred</li>\n <li>CMA, MBA, and/or construction/engineering industry experience is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
