Development Specialist<span style=\"color:#000000;\"> will report to the Director of Training &amp; Development to </span>design, develop, coordinate, and deliver highly engaging, performance-based, learner-centric training and coaching solutions to enhance team member capabilities needed to achieve Agency and professional goals. </span></span></p>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Facilitates leadership and operational training via a group setting, in-person classroom, virtual webinar/teleconference and one-on-one.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Writes/builds training materials including outlines, job-aids, work instructions, classroom materials, on-the-job training guides and worksheets.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Develops e-learning modules, hand-outs, infographics, videos and quizzes. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Keeps learning materials current based on business data, trends and updates to operational processes. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Executes a consulting process and performance analysis to gather information on needs, maintain pulse on the business, offer creative ideas and recommend impactful training, change management and process-improvement solutions. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Builds and maintains strong relationships with all departments/stores to determine needs and to give and receive feedback and coaching. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Collaborates with subject matter experts and Director of Training &amp; Development to design, develop and implement robust training solutions. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Measures progress and effectiveness of training through capturing feedback and gathering data through observation and testing. </span></span></span></li>\n</ol>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;\"><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Requirements</span></strong></span></span></p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field.  Minimum four years work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Two years’ training development and facilitation experience preferred.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Facilitation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training preferred.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Three years’ experience, team building and coaching to improve performance and two year’s retail, logistics, warehouse and/or safety experience strongly preferred. </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively collaborate with business units to assess needs, develop and deliver training as promised.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Skills in E-Learning Authoring Tools, SharePoint, Guide By Cell, SnagIt, Brainshark and Learning Management Systems preferred.  </span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.</span></span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.</span></span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\">For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.</span></span></li>\n</ol>\n\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in;margin-right:0in;text-align:center;\"><span style=\"font-size:11px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>To learn more about Goodwill San Antonio and to view available positions visit: </em></span><u><a href=\"http://www.goodwillsa.org\" style=\"color:rgb(5,99,193);text-decoration:underline;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">www.goodwillsa.org</span></a></u><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><em>. </em></span><br />\n<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</em></strong></span></span></span></p>",
