Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to provide services, supports, care and treatment to individuals as required. Responds immediately when dispatched and is alert, engaged and empathetic to all those encountered.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Complete crisis assessments, including Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSRS) and other clinical documentation as indicated.</li><li>Answer 100% of crisis dispatches and respond face-to-face to all crisis calls within an average of 60 minutes for urban location or 90 minutes for rural locations.</li><li>Assess safety of individuals and others in crisis.</li><li>Develop crisis safety plans and assist in facilitating linkages to the appropriate level of care.</li><li>Follow up with individual’s ongoing provider as appropriate to ensure the individual adheres to the crisis service recommended support and services.</li><li>Facilitate referrals quickly to prevent escalation of crisis.</li><li>Ensure customer service satisfaction surveys are given to individuals contacted by the MCTs.</li><li>Complete necessary documentation, in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, to meet all regulatory requirements and facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources.</li><li>Provide crisis follow-up services within 72 hours of crisis disposition for individuals served, as well as any other individual for whom it is clinically appropriate.</li><li>Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.</li></ul><p><u><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a mental-health related field from an accredited institution</li><li>Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum.</li><li>Two-years-post-bachelors professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution plus three-years full-time equivalent professional experience in the mental health field.</li><li>Valid CPR and First Aid Certification</li><li>Valid driver’s license and auto insurance</li><li>Must be computer literate</li><li>Must be experienced and competent in profession and maintain any applicable license, training and/or certifications</li><li>Experience working with individuals with mental illness, emotional disorders, and substance- related disorders who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crisis.</li></ul><p>Interested applicants can apply online at benchmarkhs.com.</p><p><strong>EEO and Affirmative Action Employer, Veterans, Women and Individuals with Disabilities are Encouraged to Apply</strong></p><p><em>Benchmark has provided services for 65 years.
