    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><h3 data-pasted=\"true\">Position&nbsp;Summary</h3><p>The Avionics Assistant Manager supports the Avionics Manager in the daily oversight of the Repair Station&rsquo;s avionics operations. This role provides leadership, technical expertise, workflow coordination, and regulatory oversight to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The Assistant Manager also serves as a senior technical resource for complex installations, troubleshooting, and regulatory interpretations.</p><p>This position requires a seasoned avionics professional who has advanced technical skills, demonstrated leadership ability, and the qualifications to hold (or has previously held) a Part 145 Repairman Certificate.</p><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2><ul><li>High&nbsp;school&nbsp;diploma&nbsp;or&nbsp;equivalent&nbsp;required.</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;pass&nbsp;a&nbsp;drug&nbsp;screening&nbsp;and&nbsp;background&nbsp;check.</li><li>Avionics&nbsp;Technician&nbsp;Level&nbsp;II&nbsp;mastery&nbsp;and&nbsp;all&nbsp;competencies&nbsp;of&nbsp;Avionics&nbsp;Technician&nbsp;Level&nbsp;III.</li><li>5&ndash;7&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;progressive&nbsp;avionics&nbsp;experience</li><li>Must&nbsp;hold&nbsp;or&nbsp;be&nbsp;capable&nbsp;of&nbsp;holding&nbsp;a&nbsp;Part&nbsp;145&nbsp;Repairman&nbsp;Certificate.</li><li>Demonstrated&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;FAA&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;to&nbsp;avionics&nbsp;and&nbsp;Repair&nbsp;Station operations.</li><li>Demonstrated history of adherence to FAA and RSQCM regulations and safety requirements.</li></ul><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><h3>Leadership&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Management</h3><ul><li>Assist&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;supervision,&nbsp;training,&nbsp;scheduling,&nbsp;and&nbsp;daily&nbsp;coordination&nbsp;of&nbsp;avionics&nbsp;technicians.</li><li>Serve&nbsp;as&nbsp;acting&nbsp;manager&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Avionics&nbsp;Manager&rsquo;s&nbsp;absence.</li><li>Lead&nbsp;teams&nbsp;on&nbsp;major&nbsp;installation&nbsp;and&nbsp;modification&nbsp;projects,&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;quality,&nbsp;efficiency,&nbsp;and compliance.</li><li>Provide technical mentorship, project guidance, and performance feedback to team members.</li></ul><h3>Technical&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Project&nbsp;Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead&nbsp;and&nbsp;perform&nbsp;advanced&nbsp;avionics&nbsp;installations,&nbsp;modifications,&nbsp;troubleshooting,&nbsp;and&nbsp;repairs.</li><li>Oversee&nbsp;project&nbsp;planning,&nbsp;including&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;required&nbsp;parts,&nbsp;components,&nbsp;equipment,&nbsp;and resources.</li><li>Conduct&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;review&nbsp;technical&nbsp;research,&nbsp;including&nbsp;STC&nbsp;integration&nbsp;and&nbsp;component compatibility.</li><li>Address&nbsp;and&nbsp;resolve&nbsp;airworthiness&nbsp;discrepancies,&nbsp;developing&nbsp;corrective&nbsp;actions&nbsp;and documentation.</li><li>Verify proper identification and handling of suspected unairworthy parts or non-compliant installations.</li></ul><h3>Regulatory&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Ensure&nbsp;all&nbsp;work&nbsp;complies&nbsp;with&nbsp;FAA&nbsp;regulations,&nbsp;STCs,&nbsp;manufacturer&nbsp;data,&nbsp;and&nbsp;company&nbsp;RSQCM requirements.</li><li>Assist&nbsp;with&nbsp;internal&nbsp;audits,&nbsp;documentation&nbsp;reviews,&nbsp;and&nbsp;corrective-action&nbsp;processes.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;up-to-date&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;current&nbsp;and&nbsp;emerging&nbsp;FAA&nbsp;regulations,&nbsp;advising&nbsp;the&nbsp;team&nbsp;on impacts to aircraft and components.</li><li>Support return-to-service processes and, when authorized, perform inspections in accordance with Repair Station procedures.</li></ul><h3>Continuous&nbsp;Improvement&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Professional&nbsp;Development</h3><ul><li>Support&nbsp;ongoing&nbsp;technician&nbsp;training,&nbsp;OJT&nbsp;development,&nbsp;and&nbsp;participation&nbsp;in&nbsp;aviation&nbsp;education programs (AEA, FAA FAST, etc.).</li><li>Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the department.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Attributes</h2><ul><li>Strong&nbsp;leadership,&nbsp;communication,&nbsp;and&nbsp;team-building&nbsp;skills.</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;manage&nbsp;multiple&nbsp;projects&nbsp;and&nbsp;deadlines&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;fast-paced&nbsp;maintenance&nbsp;environment.</li><li>High&nbsp;level&nbsp;of&nbsp;professionalism&nbsp;and&nbsp;integrity.</li><li>Experience working directly with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
